Hello beauties! Spring is here! That means it’s time to put away our beloved vampy winter colors and bring on those lovely pastels. It’s time to move away from the matte skin and allow our glowing skin to bloom like a rose! Spring makeup is so lovely and we just love blogging about it so here are our 7 tips for fresh Spring makeup looks we would like to share with you today:

1. Smokey violet eyes– Did you know Pantone’s color of 2018 is Ultra Violet? We are so ecstatic about this color! Not only is it perfect for Spring but purples in general are just amaze-balls. Our pick: MAC Cosmetics Stars N’ Rockets

Why we love it: It is a beautiful soft violet with pink pearl. Great worn alone a wash of color on eyelids or used in combination with other hues of violet. And besides, what’s not to love about MAC eyeshadows?

2. Flushed cheeks– Out with the old, in with the new. We are seeing a new trend in makeup this year, as we move away from the matte look to skin-like finish, everyone is catching on and so should you! . We love our soft baby pinks for Spring! To achieve this look, simply use a cream or powder blush, swipe across the apples of your cheeks. Beauty Affair Artist Sara loves to dab some of the same product on her lips and across eyelids to blend everything together. Our pick: YSL Beauty Kiss and Blush in Rose Frivole.

Why we love it: YSL Beauty makes our lives easier by making this a double use blush, hence the name ‘Kiss and Blush!’

3. Fresh Dewy Skin-Ahhhhh! Nothing is better than fresh skin! Remember, glowing fresh skin does NOT mean it has to be oily or shiny, the key is to highlight! Keep the foundation light, use minimal powder, concentrating on the T-zone and add a pop of light right onto those cheekbones. To add a little more dimension, use a bit of bronze.
Our pick: Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow in Light to Medium

Why we love it: Another double use product! This beautiful sculpting duo is perfect for achieving the fresh makeup look and the packaging isn’t so bad either!

4. Liquid eyeliner– What’s sexier than a well defined, blacker than black, glossy cat eye or winged liner? Well, we can’t think of anything, except of course Mehron’s new 1927 Liquid Vinyl Makeup. Our Pick

Why we love it: This amazing product is water resistant, smudge proof and delivers a glossy finish for the perfect liner! And as an added bonus, this product can be used not only on the eyes but body as well! Perfect for the true artists or anyone looking to create any type of body painting.

5. Glossy pink and salmon lips– When we think Spring, we think subtle warmth. Give those lippies some color by topping them off with a nice salmon or pink gloss.
Our pick: Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Streak

Why we love it: It is a beautiful blend of both coral and pink! Add some clear gloss on top to finish the look!

6. Brown eyeshadow along lower lashline– Althought we have been doing this look for quite sometime, we wont brag about it. But to brag, this look hit the runway on Fashion Week! Brown shadow is the perfect way to accentuate the lower lashline. It gives the illusion of a thicker lashline without the harshness black liner brings.
Our pick: MAC Cosmetics Ground Brown

Why we love it: Again, there’s nothing MAC shadows wont do. They are amazing. Very little fallout and highly pigmented. This color is the perfect shade of deep rich brown. Add a tid bit of highlight in the inner corners to make it pop.

7. Monochromatic Peach– Peach really warms up complexion without bronzing. You can achieve a monochromatic look this Spring by using a cream based medium in the eyes, cheeks and lips.
Our pick: Laura Mercier Crème Cheek Colour

Why we love it: Creams blend like no tomorrow. Laura makes it easier for us to achieve that monochromatic look with just one simple item, give it a try!
